Dr Shah’s Surgery is a family general practice located in the Hanford/Trentham Area Stoke on Trent. The practice was started by Dr. Pravin H Shah in the early 80s and has since grown in list size and expanded it services. We have at present three male GP’s, two practice nurses and 1 assistant health care practitioner. We aim to provide the highest quality of patient-centered healthcare possible to our patients.

We have set up this website to make it easier to find out more information about the practice. There are links to find out about the different clinics available, useful health information and online services (including booking appointments, ordering repeat medications).

Registering as an NHS patient is simple. Call into the surgery during opening hours with proof of residence and our friendly reception staff will help you complete a registration form. Once you are registered as a patient you will be offered an appointment with a healthcare professional for a general health check. You can then start using our services.

We also will see temporary resident patients if you are visiting family locally. Please enquire at reception.
